NYWA memberships are an annual membership that costs $17.00. To purchase or renew a membership, click here to log in to the membership page. All wrestlers who participate in any NYWA events must have a valid membership. The memberships can be purchased or renewed beginning September 1st and expire on August 31st of the following year.
Memberships include a secondary medical insurance policy which covers a wrestler in the event of an injury at a practice or tournament. The policy has a $250 deductible and will cover what your primary insurance does not cover (expenses that are usual and customary). This will serve as your primary medical insurance in the event you do not have primary insurance. The membership must have been purchased or renewed at the time of injury to be covered. If an injury occurs, a claim must be filed within 30 days of the injury to be covered. To obtain a claim form, please call NYWA at (507) 754-4491.
Download the 2016-17 membership form to mail in with payment. Coaches/clubs - please do NOT mail in forms for your club without payment. Only those memberships that are received with payment will be entered. We will not accept emailed membership forms.
Parents ~ If your club sent your memberships in, you will still need to create an account. After creating the account, you will then"search for wrestler" by entering your child's name, DOB and club. Once found, click on"claim wrestler". This wrestler will now be attached to your account for future tournament registrations.
